Let's get together as many people as possible, and yes all the places I know about are legal ORV areas. As far as the guy with the buggy, he doesn't do anything serious that we couldn't do in a 4runners.

I might be up for it, just depends on when.

I'm moving to a new house within the next few weeks. Otherwise I wouldn't mind trying out some of the easier trails. (no locker)

I'll keep an eye on this--

later

Sounds good! There's plenty of trails around there or anywhere in the area with easy to moderate difficulty!

Great, I wanted to go, but I needed someone that knew the area. How far from Townsend are you?

I'm in Maryville, TN which is the adjacent city to the west of Townsend. I'm only about 20 minutes from the center of Townsend, which if you've never been there it's a tiny town.

Yeah, been there a few times. I got married there 3 years ago and even had a visit to the emergency room in Sevierville.

Well, since you are so far away, let's plan a day trip while you're up here. Let me talk to my wife and family to make sure I don't have any conflicts, and you do the same if you need to. I'll let you know something soon,

A day trip would be great. I may come up for a weekend before Dec. I had planned on at least one day of wheeling while I'm there in Dec. I will also be doing a little mountain biking and plenty of hiking while I'm there.

How about a family trip-bring your wife and kids. I'll have my wife with me.

A family trip would be great to me, but my wife hates wheeling unfortunately. We love to hike and I used to mountain bike all the time, but haven't been on the bike in over a year. I'll ask and see what she says.

Just tell her no hardcore wheeling! Remember I have to get home. I haven't been biking much either-maybe twice in a year.

Do you guys know about the Dixie Run being held at Tellico on Oct. 3-5th? There's going to be a ton of people there. Rockcrawling competition, and trail rides.

I don't know about showing ya around that well, because most of my riding has consisted of dirtbiking the trails up there, which are not the same trails I'd have my 4runner on, that's for sure. I would love to go though! I'm starting a new job, and I work every other Saturday, but I think I'm okay that weekend. We'll see, and I'll let you know.

Chris

P.S. How many people are planning to go?

Hey, that weekend we (Ga. TTORA) are having a family day here in Atlanta. So can't make it then.

There are about 4-5 from GA and about the same from Tenn TTORA planning to attend that weekend.

How's the Runner doing withe that SMT?

Peace Ron
