Chris

Hey Chris, Brandy and I will be there Thursday afternoon-that is if we both kick the flu by then. So bring the wife and it just wouldn't be the same w/o Paul there too.

What trails are you planning on running? I see some talk here of the harder trails-I'll run the camera for those.

If the company answers my request favorably tomorrow to cover my rent until the house in Houston sells I'll be able to make it, otherwise I won't be there. I'll have to see if I can drive down to Atlanta and drop my kids (dogs) off at my sis-in-laws place if I go though, so I'll be coming from Atlanta most likely and driving back through there on Sunday.

I really want her to go, but I'm not sure she's going to come yet. You guys will definitely be better by this weekend, surely. Paul will probably be there too. I'm not sure though.

As far as trails go, I'd like to run lower 2 and slickrock if I have competant driver's, at least one rig with a winch, and someone that has done it before, preferably. I'll definitely be trying slickrock again, but I'm not sure on lower 2. I'd want to go up it, not down it.

If you and some other guys try Slickrock, I'll drive 8 around to the top and walk down and video you. If you try lower 2, you'll have to give me directions to the road where it comes out so I can watch and video.

This is going to be great, nice weather, and people willing to try some extream trails.

Sam, sad to hear that your not going to be coming, I'm sure there will be another trip you can make, no one's really seen your truck since the BL, sliders, and 33 muds.

I'm up for doing any video on L2 or slickrock, the more angles the better. Looks like Austin is going to have alot of footage to work with and editing to do once he gets home.

Hey Chris,

What time are you leaving on Friday ? I am off but can't leave until about 4:00. Andrew is going with me ( 18 year old ) but does not get out of school until 3;00. We are camping.

Got my body lift installed and the rear diamond plate tool box mounted to the swing out tire carrier - this looks great. I wondered what I was going to do with that carrier once I moved the spare underneath. Also have a couple of spare front shafts wrapped in plastic and tied to the frame above the tire - just in case

Looks like the weather will be great - my wife is not coming she is going to a wedding in Clarksville - I don't have to be home until late Sunday

We are going to have a blast !

Oh there will definately be video being taken. From atleast 4 angles

Scott, I say we have a byom dinner for all those interested. We will get all the condiments (spell? ) and such, just bring whatever meat you want and buns then you can just keep your own, or if you want we can all just nibble and get a little of everything. It could be a pot-luck and just bring one side of your choice and we should be good. I'm going to be bringing tader salad and burgers. I think it would be nice if we all ate together atleast the first night so everyone can get a chance to meet, shoot ˟˟˟˟, brag, compare and if J comes, get made fun of...

Doc,
at this point we could split up into two groups, the hardcore group and the DD group. We could stay together for the most part, but then split off here and there and do different trails etc. whatever everyone wants to do, but it sounds like we are headed in that direction. Mine is still a DD also and ive got a long drive home on sunday so I'm not going to be going crazy either.

Looks like my body lift isn't going to get here til friday so its not going to get put on til I get back from the run . I'm going today to get my struts fixed so I'll have new bils up front and I think I might just keep my sway bar off since I'm putting a new end link thing on.

So, area we meeting at a certain time and place Sat. morn.? I think there was something about this earlier in this thread but I am too lazy to look it up.
Austin I think you said we would party at the cabin and meet at Crawfords for the trail rides. Is this correct?

Really doesn't matter to me. I guess whatever is closer to the trails is where we should meet. I think we should meet on friday night at the cabin and have a meet and greet sort of thing, we can decide there what we want to do the next morning.

Just so long as everyone atleast has a tent, so they don't have to pitch their own.
