That' JUST WRONG !!!!!!! :pat:

The trail head and the pay box are 12 - 15 miles from the campground
on a gravel dusty road. The last time we had this many runners SE4RJ
we met around 8:30 - 9:00 at the campground - gas at the campground as well for those that need gas. With the amount of dust on the road - it pays to have a CB - can't see what is coming

It will sort itself out Friday night

I am trying to finish my sliders this week - I hope to have them on - but maybe not Just may have to be careful - AGAIN

How has the weather been up there lately? Its been overcast for like 2 months down here. If its been sort of rainy it shouldn't be too dusty. Either way, a CB is a big plus.

Let's us channel 11 ( November - get it ? )
Conditions don't matter - I think there would be dust on that road in a rain storm !
Most everybody waited until we went to the Honor box before airing down.
15 PSI works very well on my 31's

Oh Yeah - bring your OWN beer ! I'll have mine !

Matt is not driving his Runner, because we used a double cardan joint for his front square d-shaft and the angle makes it not want to move enough at full droop. It turned out real beefy, with plenty of slip not bad for our first attempt. We are looking for a single u-joint flange to replace the outer tube and It'll be ready to spin. He broke his steering box weld and a bolt head so he is trying to fab some plates out of 1/4" He is getting done with his spool pinion and outer axle seal today so we'll be mudding in 2wd tonight.

My d-shaft is still in peices but I am gonna use the joints from the cardan joint in matt's square shaft cause the are 28mm. If That is a pain, I'll use his rear shaft and t-case flange.

I am down for any harder trails. I have BFG 305 MTs, TJM, winch, E-locker, beefy sliders and beefy bumper. I also have a couple 25-50ft thick tow staps, snach block and a hilift. I'm not to worried about the dust cause it makes my paint look cleaner, plus I can use the snorkel for something other than swimming.

Eric has his sliders on and a new tjm so he thinks he can follow on the hard trails with bald 31" x-terrains and no tow points. Emily is gonna leave her 97 Limited w/locker in camp cause the only mod she has is no running boards.

Sweet, I should be getting my sliders on tonight or sometime this week. If someone could please post a list of things I need for a CB I'm going to put a rush delivery on a Cobra 75WX ST and Firestick II? Brian I might jsut get with you on AIM and get a list from you, I liked the coax cable you used.

As for food I might be able to bring all the buns, hmaburger and hot dog buns you need, my dad works for Flowers Baking Co. and might be able to get me 6-7 12pks. of each, I'll ask tonight and find out for sure.

For those with the e-locker, can someone school me real fast on the all range locker mod. Do I cut the red and blue wire in half and ground it, or do I just splice a ground wire into it and fork it off from one point?

Thanks in advance.

cut the (?) wire and ground it to the body, sorry I'm part color blind. It's real easy and you won't screw anything up.
You can get the cobra and all the accesories at a truck stop.
CB
Antenna
Coax

We will be monitoring that for the entire run. Unless there is a lot of traffic on it.

two of my buddies want to ride up there with me, is there anymore room on the floor of the cabin, i told them both if there was it would be $20 for the weekend, thats right, right?

i still got to figure out a mounting point for my CB antenna, i don't have an aftermarket front bumper or anything, much less anywhere decent around here to get a bracket.
