I don't have reservations yet, so I could take someone's if they don't want to pay the cancellation fees. I only need Friday night though.

I just won a Hi-Lift jack on eBay but it is for local pickup in San Diego. Would someone in San Diego mind picking this up for me and bringing it to Pismo? I would really appreciate it. Let me know.

Thanks.

Depending on where in SD, I might be able to help you out.
Just don't blame me if it, uh, falls out of my truck on the way up

I'm not worried about it falling out of your truck on the way up. I'm worried about it falling out of your truck into a convenient (for you) location in your garage.

I'll send you a PM with the info.

They might check that your license number matches up with the reservation. Better call them up and find out if it's transferable.

Nah, that wouldn't happen... cause, I've already got one. Yeah, that's it. I don't know what it looks like just yet but once I see yours I'll be able to tell if it looks just like mine

Incidentally, did I mention there would be a $50 shipping/handling & storage fee

Steve:
The license portion of my form is blank.

Incidentally, does anyone else's say good for 2 days? I could have sworn I put all 3 days in. Or does it mean nights?

you bastard, you have singlehandedly ruined my vision of how cool this trip would be... emphasis on "vision"

My eyes would water and sting like crazy with that kind of a sight!

Dodgeball champ? Damn straight.

(not really...just an average clod)

Oh man, i'm pretty pumped for this trip too. After years of talking with KCToph the admin, I (and the rest of us) get to meet this character. Pretty cool IMHO

And Steve, maybe it was because you hid behind the lady gym coach?

Bob

LAST CALL TO EVERYONE: if you haven't made reservations, MAKE THEM! Also, don't forget to bring wood!

I'm struggling to finish some mods I've had sitting around. It'll take me AT LEAST 2 full days to get them going.

I'll be in the area due to a business trip around that time. If I don't need to work over that weekend, I'll try to stop by for at least part of this gathering. I'd like to meet a bunch of you. Could someone please list a few of the closest cheap motels nearest the entrance to the Pismo area? Phone numbers would be great, if possible, but I'll deal with what you give me.

Would you expect the motels to be full if I don't get a reservation? Yeah, it's only a week away, but it might still help if needed. I won't have my 4Runner or any camping gear with me. I'm hoping to just walk to where you guys are staying. How far is that from the entrance? I can bring an FRS if it'll help. Do they care if people just walk onto the beach there so I could walk over to you guys? What time would you expect things to get moving Saturday morning in your camp?

Thanks.
