Pismo-3Toys & a lady

Bud and I drove up and met the TTORA guys. We had a good time driving around the dunes trying to find some steep stuff to go down. We messed around at the creek where Bud did a rescue. We met up with Milton and did Big Falls. Boy that was fun.
Milton attempted a crazy, mud slicked hill with huge hole. Almost made it too!

Here's a cool pic Milton took of me on a slippery rock ledge. You don't see the hard rain coming down on us though!

Here's a pic Bud took at Big Falls

Here's Bud pulling out a suburban. The guys did it again just after! Who would have pulled them then?

I like this one of Bud's truck.

This is where we decided to go into the harder stuff. New territory for all of us!

Thanks Bud, Milton, and Bud's girlfriend (thus the title, see pretty clever huh?)
Look forward to more hijinks in the future!

Milt,
Did you ever figure out the wiring? Was it an exposed wire or bad fuse?
Yeah if Milton had lockers he would have made it. He had a front and rear tire in the air spinning. I wish I got a pic of that!

Hey James, Bud:
Does this look familiar?.... hehehe is that the same slope? But when it was dry? The angle from the bottom was scarier... Didnt get any pics of that slope Bud?

You know what, I think that is the same hill. Except it is nice and dry with about 8-12 hours since the last rain. EVERYTHING looks easier in pictures!

Like when we dropped down into the creek and then it seemed easy coming back out.

It looks like the LC took a straight line... or just straightened out after that big hole.

Good luck with the electrical.

milton, i dont think its the same slope. Ours looked a lot hardcore than that. lol.. I know pix dont do justice.

Unfortunately, i wasnt in a good spot to take good pics while you tried making it up that slippery steep slope.

I was in my truck and didnt want to get out in 6"s of water since i was parked by the creek. Next time.

Most of the pix i have are with James on the dunes. i'll post some tonite.

Have any of you tried going up High Mountain Road and then about half way turning right onto what I think the sign said Slo Crawlers trail or something? It was really steep, but thats when my 4wd stopped working, so I couldn't make it in 2wd.

4x4Yota,
Milton is familiar with the area. I don't know the area very well but I love what I've seen so far

Bud,
What camera do you have? I like the resolution.
I should have brought a better still camera. That DV cam is good for movies but the rain and all, I just ended up taking crappy stills.

James:
Mini-gold digger was awesome. I wanted to beat up the kid and dump that thing in the back of the truck.
I use a canon s230. Luv' it. I normally use the highest resolution 1600 X something but i decided to use 1024 x 768 this time.
Did you get your hose fixed/replaced?

Bob:
No grill this time. But we still managed to hit the chowder place twice in one afternoon; does that count? Laurie cant get enough of the clam chowder bread bowl.

The trail is on High Montain Road. Once you turn right off of Lopez Drive like your going to Big Falls, you just keep going straight till the road turns to dirt. Then after about half way on the dirt road you can turn right onto the Slo Crawlers trail or whatever. Yeah, my 4wd is fixed now. Maybe we can head out there sometime. Haven't gone to Big Falls yet.

James,
Your air tank's hose that kinked and popped; and was mistaken for a drive by pismo beach shooting.
