Thats the one!! So... when are you guys coming up north? I bet I could make it up next time! With no rain of course... I just found out the light problem a few minutes ago.... it was a fuse!! and I checked it before too.... oh well, at least its fixed. Now im off to find the noise in the front drivetrain I'm guessing its just sand and mud in the torn CV boots...

Milton,
I might go up to Gorman with a Rubicon friend. Do you want to meet there?

Next weekend (like the 1st or something)

Yes, Gorman is up the 5 fwy. I have to look it up but I think it's roughly halfway between LA and Santa Maria. I think it's at Mt. Pinos...I'll update later

Hey I guessed the distance pretty well, eh?
I'm not sure which day yet. Definitely a day trip only.

The Rubicon guy has 4" lift, long travel kit, lockers, winch and other cool stuff so I plan on going as far as is safe and then checking out how he tackles the tough stuff. He might have some other Rubicons along so it might be cool to take pics or whatever.

Cool, didn't know Gorman was at Mt. Pinos. What exactly are the trails like there?

It's Hungry Valley OHV in Gorman. I guess there is about 10,000 acres to run around on with all levels of difficulty.
Calrockx,
Yeah but you know the rule is the new guy buys everyone a chowder bowl!
