Chris
I'm not avoiding you, I was very busy trying to get my rig ready for the Jambo. Having 1 day off a week don't leave me much time to get much done. As for moving the driveline up, I've explained that to you already. If you do a BL, you can move the driveline up as much by simply adding spacers under the mounts. I actually lowered mine down a bit because of the rear driveshaft angle. So I will end up putting a dimple in my new skid plate, after I fabricate new crossmembers. Which won't be for a while since I'm currently backlogged in other projects that I put on the back burner working on my 4Runner. Besides I do want to go out wheelin and enjoy the modification that I've currently completed. Fender, then the fuel tank are next on the list....

Chris

P.S. I've done a 1" BL, so do you think I'll be okay at that height with my driveline angle?
Why don't you PM him instead of filling up the "HAMMERS" thread with this.

one from Outer Limits-

I was to busy just trying to get thru to take pic's. What a difference from AZ trails- the rocks were just as big, but covered in a layer if sand.

As always the pictures do not do this justice, to get to this point you had to climb up a huge pile of loose rocks.

Here's "Bruce Gone Wild"

Shows the rock pile you have to climb up.

"Bruce Gone Wild !!!", I ended up in the same spot and broke out the winch.

Hooking up the winch.

Big tilt and very tight.

Almost through.

Ha Ha, I ramped your junk with the Krust Toy.

So when are you gonna leave bumpkinville and wheel with the big boys? We'll make sure you get some good dents.

OK, I moved this to keep the Idle chit chat out of the vendors section.

Steve thanks for posting the pictures, I knew a bunch were being taken, so I opted not to take any myself....

I had my drivers front slide too far to the left during my trail blazing attempt. So I "Gone Wild" and went through the hard way

WOW Bruce, very nice. That Total Chaos kit up front, how did it work in the rocks, did you get a lot of flex from out of that kit?

The kit worked awesome, most of the time I never used my front locker, the only real drawback was on the tight slots like the one in the photo's that required me to take a higher line. But then there were other area's where the width in the front saved my body from getting damaged, like up Sledgehammer, where my drivers side rear was the only place that rubbed.

I could get more flex, but I still like going fast! HEHE, like traveling back to camp after our Saturday's run, sorry Steve S. I needed a drink and some food, it was a looooong day out there. Once I get my bypass shocks, I'll be able to soften up the front even more, but I'll have to get a custom set of springs made up. I just purchased the parts I need to build a prototype upper link for the back. If it works, I may not need to double triangulate 4-link the rear.

Let me know how it works out, I'm gonna hold off doing anything until you try it out.

Cool pics, maybe next year.

How did the AT's work Steve? They sure make it look like a monster truck.

Tell me more about this 4-link. What about a 3 using the stock axle mounts for both lowers and one upper then adding a panhard. Not too much heat buring anything new to the axle, gas tank stays stock.

Yokohamas did fine. Bruce has something up his sleeve, he's got it handled and will roll it out when the time comes.
