I will have to disagree....... I took my rig up through Sledgehammer!
This is all the damage I took.....
Also I broke a CV, fortunately I had my spare, 40 minutes later and we continued on and I completed the trail.
I finally got to meet Steve in person, we did some kidding around and a bunch of slow wheelin through Aftershock. "0" body damage for the both of us, but there was 2 instances that Steve came real close to denting in his pristine rig. I did do some crazy stuff, but it was something I had been working on since my last outing to that (cough) trail.

Rob and I walked about a 1/2 mile of Sledgehammer. Most of the time you cant even tell where the trail is excpet for some tire marks and metal scrapes on rocks. I am amazed you made it up that Bruce with so little damage.

On the last major obstacle out of Aftershock there is a spot called "Depreciation Knob", I was the first to attempt it and go through. I'm sure there will be some really crazy picture of the line I took. but with a bit of rock moving and stacking afterwards, it made it easier for the rest who followed. I had a lot of fun doing a bit of trail blazing.

It was a trail indeed. For those of you at the CO4RJ it would be like 25 French Creek crossings on Holy Cross, one after another.

Martinez Canyon in Arizona still holds the title of "The Most Kick Ass Trail". Aftershock is without a doubt harder but it did get a bit monotonous. The other thing that should be pointed out is that yes, Aftershock is the easierst of the "Hammers" trails. But all the Hammers trails are insaine.
I did it once, that's all I need. I personally would not run Aftershock with less than 315's, 2 lockers and an Ultimate Marlin. Sure you "could" do it with less, but boy that thing will take a pounding and you had better plan on spending the night due to all the construction you'll be doing stacking rocks. Bruce said he did it with his 32's but then again "Bruce Gone Wild" !!!

Maybe when I get some more protection I'll try the whole thing...

BruceTS, I've been making every attempt to gather up the information I need to move my drivetrain up like you did, but it seems you are avoiding me! When do I get to hear how to do it, so I can make up my new crossmembers, etc? Please! Pretty please?
