open 6+ rated trail info
I'm looking to run at least a 6-rated trail next Saturday. I need one more "extreme" fix before I'm done for the season. Anyone have recommendations on where can I get reliable information about what's open and what's closed for the season? ,,, Or does anyone have any recommendations?

What about the Outer Limits Trail in Johnson Valley. I know there are a few few new "Hammer" trails But I don't know there location.
EDIT: Oops never mind your in Colorado lol.

6+ is extreme?
Chinamen's, Holy Cross and Iron Chest are all rated 8's IIRC and I think are fun.
I think Holy Cross is the only one where snow may be an issue.

well, I want at least a 6 rating. I guess I should specify somewhere between a 6 and 9 (I don't want to hit a 10 just yet). I've been thinking of Holy cross or Chinamen's trail but I'm not sure if I'd have the gas money to make it up that far for just one trail and I don't have the time to do a couple trails over both weekend days. Is there a way to know for sure if it's closed for the season due to snow?
