Evan's Creek - Saturday May 24th

Who's up for a Saturday run on May 17th or 24th. I think I'm more likely to be free on the 26th than the 19th.

I want to run alll the moderate trails at Evan's Creek. It'll be a full day outting, but it shouldn't be too harry. I'm looking at running both sections of 311 up to the top, hop on the road to 519 and take that trail South to North then on the road back home. If a couple of us are up to it, we might take 102 back. This involves a fairly short section of very difficult (tight) trail then on to a simple trail/road home. Let me know who's interested.

I have a lot of new mods that need to be broken in. Rear ARB locker repair, rear Ring and pinion repair, Driveshaft changes and new U-joints, Bumper mount repair, steering arm bolt upgrades, new onboard air system and yeah and that little dual transfer case upgrade... I need a nice gentle run to test stuff out before I stress everything :o)
Here is trail map.

I'm in for the 17th. Going to be out of town and recovering from a root canal on the 24th.

Out of town would be a problem, recovering from a root canal isn't. I had one done last year, it was a piece of cake.

I don't know if I can get away on the 17th, but the weather forcast may be nasty, which is good. I think we could get away for a family style outing up to Greenwater for a few hours. I won't have my new gears until until Wednesday at the earliest and I can't put some hard wheeling on them till the gears are broken in. I was hoping to have them in Sunday or Monday, but they're not even finished yet, then I have to get them down here and installed.

Scott, would be be interested in a Greenwater run? The snow levels supposed to be about 3000' Saturday morning.
THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT
MOSTLY CLOUDY. RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS LIKELY. SNOW LEVEL 3000 FEET THURSDAY RISING TO 4000 FEET SATURDAY. AFTERNOON PASS TEMPERATURES THURSDAY 35 TO 40.

Hey man, I just wnat to get my new tires off road! Greenwater would be great. I don't really want to get too crazy until I get some sliders on.

I may have run into a snag on my truck again. Mike got my R&P back together but there's a problem with the locker parts that ARB gave me. I hope to be able to pick it up today and take it back to ARB to get the right parts. If everything goes OK then doing a few hours of Greenwater exploring sounds good to me. You may have to have your better half talk my better half into going :o) We have company all week. I think I can convince her to spend a 1/2 day on an outing as a family event.
