Evans Creek RUn Sept 6-7
Looks like we have some interest for a run the first weekend on Sept. SO, here are my tenative plans:
Who: Anyone, open to all skill levels
What: 4x4, DUH!!!
When: Sept 6-7 With camping on sat.
Where: Evans creek
Why: Do you really need to know WHY!!
My plans for the weekend are to meet in Wilkeson at the chevron gas station, so we can purchase forest use passes at around 11 am on Saturday, Sept 6th. The reason for 11 am is because it is a long drive from Marysville!! The run will be open to all skill levels, from easy trails, to level 4 trails. We will stick mostly to the easier trails, but I will be trying some harder trails, seeing what the old IFS can do for me.
If this sounds like a plan to anyone, please respond to this post or email me and we'll finalize plans. Nothing like cool mountain air to relax the mind!

The 6th draws closer. Can you feel it? We now have a 94 Truck, an 87 Runner, an 85 Runner, a Heep and an 85 Truck! Still looking for more. We just got back from a run on the 23rd, had a BLAST. A rock on 311 got the best of my quarter, so I'm out for revenge!!!

Dudes I need to bow out on this run since I have to work both days (0730-1930). Got the work schedule finally. Oh well got to stand the watch to make it safe for you guys to have a good time out there fighting mosquitoes! Uncle Sam directs! Have a good time and perhaps I will be there for the next time. Be safe.

Oh goody. So no one wants to go now? IF anyone wants to go with, we are still looking for people to go. I want this to be a good run, not just a few rigs. Now for some reason 2 people have canceled, so we have an 85 pickup, and my 87 4Runner. I know we got somebody out there who wants to wheel!

This shot is from Evans creek (where we are going) I think it shows the bumper well. It is welded and crossed braced in 4 spots, and the plate is welded in 4 spots. I have used it to pull myself out of some deep mud, then turned around and pulled out a fullsize suburban, with no deflection. Id trust the thing with my
life heh.
