Denver area meet & greet

hey all,
we was thinking about another meet & greet for the denver "area" to include the people from the Srings and, up north, we was thinking about sometime July, so please post up if your interested, and where your coming from, as we want to make it in a "central" location for everyone that would be coming, also would you prefer it to be on a weekend or week day ? if you know of a good place, post that also, it has already been suggested at Joes Crab Shack, the only one i know of is up on 36hwy, a little far for the people coming from the south, im open to anyplace, throw out suggestions.

I think a weekend would work for most people.
I don't care where or when.
She'll be there unless i have the Kids.
And she's MINE!

Personally, if it's on a weekend in July I'd rather "Meet & Greet" on a trail rather than in someones backyard.

I'd be up for a meet 'n greet. We might be able to use the parking lot at my work. And there's a Jason's Deli in the same lot if'n we wanted to do dinner.

I wouldn't mind a luch date type of thing since we could get some more of the guys that don't really off road much and just want to talk shop and drink a couple of cold ones.

Let me know where and when, preferably a weekend, and I'll be there. Be my first time to meet anyone from the board.

Make it on an easy trail with a camping/picnic area along the way.

I'd be down for it. I'd be coming from Fort Collins, but it doesn't really matter to me where it is held since I drive to Aurora somewhat regularly. If you do decide on doing a trail run, I would prefer an easy one since I'm still inexperienced.

Ric make a poll on which we should do a trail type or a dinner lunch type? Then we can go from there. WE could do a Trail, a resturant my house for BBQ, and Other. as the catigories.

In Colorado, when we meet it is to drink beer or wheel.

Right now I am better at the one than the other.

Hi.

Special hi to John, Adrian and Alan. Long time no see guys. I don't come in here anymore so i've kinda lost touch.

I've been doing this kinda stuff for fun lately:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...09#post1542609
(I'm RoundlightKnight on there)

I'm going to get e-mail notify work for this so I can follow it. I sold my truck but I can still play in the sandbox on the bike.

Here's a tip I've learned from the bike board. Instead of asking what people want and taking a vote, just set a time, date, location and the nature of the event, let the chips fall where they may. Name dropping helps. Example:

HaveBlue, MojoRisin, Fligtenstein and I are having a picnic on January 44th, 1985 in Wing Ding Park starting at 11am. If you are coming, RSVP with a note about what you can provide for the party. Don't forget to bring your hot Girlfriend/Wife/Sister/Cousin. See ya there. [example mode off]

I'm gonna lurk on this one and see what's happening in the world of Toyotas lately. Later guys.

-Matt

I totally agree with this. When you ask people when they want to do something you will always run into time conflicts. But if you choose a date then people will know exactly when and if they can go. Anyways thats just my input.

I'm getting married the 23rd. So I would prefer this trip to be earlier in the month.
