I'm so down. My boss won't let me goto AZ, so I can call the meet and great a personal day for this.
As for some easy trails, we could do Apex, west of Rollinsville, that will spit us out near Blackhawk.
Along those lines we can do Kingston Peak. It is easy, but there is one part that has a steep downhill with a rocky section. It will put us out at Alice, then heads to I-70.
We could also do Rollins Pass. This is a very easy trail, that gives great views of the plains.
There is the Jamestown/Ward road. It has a moderate rating.
Also, there is the Caribou Creek west of Nederland. This too is moderate.
Then there is Sugerloaf Mountain. This is a very easy trial. Also, west of Boulder.
With that, you can do the Switzerland Trail. If you want to do a BBQ, this could be a good trail to do it at. If I rememeber there is a BBQ pit near the top.
Hope this helps!!

Hey Ric, Have you thought of a time and place to meet up yet?
I know it's almost a month away, but i'm getting anxious since i wasn't able to make it to the last one. I wanna wheel!!!

I was asked to come up with some moderate trails that a stock vehicle can do. Some of the trails i picked have a harder trail that connect to them, so for anyone who wants to go on something harder, they can. Here are the trails
Middle Saint Vrain Trail/Coney Flats
Caribou Creek Road/Eldorado Mountain
Wheeler Lake
Mosquito Pass
All of these have "Some" Space for a barbeque afterwards, but Middle Saint Vrain is the best in that regard because it takes off right out of a camp ground.

I'd be interested in meeting some people on the boards and should be free July 30th.
I tried Middle St Vrain a couple weeks ago and wasn't able to make it past the first rock obstacle (about 1/4-1/2 mile in). Of course that was prob because of my limited wheelin skillz.
We hiked up the trail a bit and there was a couple sections with some pretty deep water crossings.
Either way, sounds like a good time!

Dang, there's alot of CO people here now! What happened to Darren and some of the other CO wheelers? Got any trails my subie can get up?
If'n you guys are doing a dinner/lunch thing I might have to check it out and see what the yota guys are up to now adays. I'll just bring my RC Rock crawler.
Wow.... I still can't believe anyone bought my truck....
