Argg. If you'd made it on a weekend, I'd have loved to come, but I can't do a Thursday..

I suppose I'll catch you on another run!

Oh. Well in that case, sure! We can wait and see who else signs up and then pick a date.

I'd be happy to convoy, as long as the date works for me. I really want to do Eagle Rock now that there is snow on it. However, if that isn't kosher with the folks who wanna go, I'd be okay with something else. Or perhaps the snow is too deep

For me, the 5th or later works. Weekends are preferred though..

Hmmm. The fifth sounds pretty good. I'll check later on, and I'll know for sure.

I just noticed Hanksyota's response.

I was under the impression that Eagle Rock was easy to moderate. Perhaps I'm in error? We certainly don't have to do that one...

Here it is http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=39

It is a 6-7, and that site always rates things about 1 or two too high. I've found that a 6-7 is more like a 5-6.

This doesn't look any worse than Moody/Crystal Hank, I'm sure you'd be fine.

I agree with AxleIke, TrailDamage seams to error on the side of caution (for good reason)...

I took totally stock drivetrain/suspension truck down a few that topped out at 5/6 and at the end I felt like: "Thats as hard as its going to get?"

Granted, that was summer time, but still.. In convoy you have some one to spot, tow, wrench, point and laugh, etc..

I'm pretty sure everyone who has responded is IFS..

I'll go ahead and say it before AxleIke or TC does: You might be suprised what an IFS truck can do.

most of us are IFS so no worries. moody/crystal was about the limits for me. too much slamming around. so if this is comparable, id think about it. that was a rough day. i dont truly enjoy pucker factor every obstacle when i hear stuff slammin around beneath me. my lca's are still pissed about that trip. but it is wheeling. so we'll see. haha.

Suspension is irrelevant.

My truck will drive any trail in Colorado that you can get through without body damage on a full bodied truck.

Armor is key. Sounds like Eagle Rock is not going to be kosher for folks, so we can find something easier. I've never been down there, so someone who has will need to recommend.

Ooooh, I like that idea A LOT lance! That would be perfect since some are worried about the roughness, I did that trail back when I was bone stock before it shut down. AWESOME!

If there are no objections, how's about Metberry Gulch?
