I'm supposed to go to a birthday party in/around Bailey on Friday night, and probably spend the night, so I'd already be up there. As I said, if my tires get here in time and I can get them on, I will go with you guys. I should know this week.

Okay, sounds like China Wall is a winner.

Who all can make it?

^^ haha are you serious?

I am planning on making it as long as the correct part show up in time, which they should. I got the wrong leafs, wrong front shocks, wrong ball joint spacers and incorrect hardware for the ball joints. Most of it has already been replaced with correct parts, I'm just waiting on the right leaf springs now. They should be here any day now.

Looks like 4WP has shipped my tires, but whether they get here in time and I can get them mounted remains to be seen. My current ones are so bald that I'm not comfortable taking them offroad at all, which sucks because this is perfect with me being up there already and all. I will update with progress!

China Wall.

Not to worry. This road is very easy, it only has the ratings it does because of optional obstacles. You do not have to drive them if you don't want to.

Springs guys can come up from Woodland Park, it would appear.

Hopefully I can tag along as well. I'm trying to see if I can break away from certain obligations on Saturday.

What time are you guys thinking of meeting?

I will be in Bailey. I don't like getting up early, so 10 is fine. I suggest meeting at the Conoco at the top of crow hill on Bulldogger road.

Folks in town could meet to caravan. Probably best to do it in Morrison, or someplace close to 285 and C-470.

I doubt this will last too long, as I figure we may get about 100 yards down the road. Depends on how much the wind has drifted the snow.

Right now, it's looking iffy for me - the idler arm bushings finally came in, and they don't fit, so I'll have to machine them down at work tomorrow and hopefully get everything back together tomorrow night...

If it's only gonna be a hundred-yard dash, I don't think I'm gonna stress about the tires and whatnot. Just doesn't sound worth it.

Bummer.

It may be a 100 yard dash, It may be the full trail. As with all things snow, it is a gamble.

Troy, take the idler with you, make sure they fit, and then it's about 15 minutes to put it back together and get the truck back working again.

So, me, Turbo, and 4x4? Possible Troy, possible Djlarroc, possible Asha'man.

I wouldn't stress the tires either. If you get em done, sweet, but you shouldn't be stressed about wheeling.

Probably not for me, guys. IF the tires come in time, my wheels need to be powdercoated first to put them on, and I'm not sure when my buddy can get to those. We'll shoot for next time though!
