It didn't look so bad the other day. I started to pick at the rust and found out that the rust was being held on with roofing tar. The rust aint as bad as my dads 85. The bed is almost non existant.

4 weeks away!!! Get those last minute mods done and make sure your rigs are in sound running condition. Start saving a couple bucks to throw towards the raffle. Each Toyota owner that brings a rig will receive 1 raffle ticket. Additional tickets can be bought for $1/ea or 6 tickets for $5. All the proceeds will be donated to "Stay the Trail".

Our campsite is 1/8 mile west of the intersection of 315 & 376.

If you have any questions about the event, directions, trails to run, etc... please post it up here or shoot myself a PM.

Here's what camp looked like at Chalk Creek. I think 20 rigs showed up that year. We're double that now

I'm really excited about this! I have a few things to do though!!!

We'll be there in our Land Cruiser:

Its going to be tan by then though...

On another note, Meg and I will be running lighter trails this year. Just found out I'm going to be a dad and the doctor doesn't want Meg jarred around too much. Looking forward to the hardcore wheelin' storries around the Camp Fire though!!!

Congrats on being a dad! I've got 2 myself, they are a blast. Funny, when I attended the Jambo back in 2004, I just found out that my wife & I were going to have our first child.

Ok, as long as we can find a sitter for the kiddos, the wife and I WILL be there. my youngest is a little too young to be wheelin. I am really excited for the trip, I've never met anyone from YT. ok.... even if we can't find a sitter, I might just leave the whole family behind and wheel off into the sunset! SOLO style

I started at 6 weeks. Just be sure the little one has enough head support. They'll sleep right through it!

the not bringing the kiddos is more of my wife's decision than mine. She has still never been wheeling, so she's nervous. That and I would be a lot more comfortable with it if I had some sort of cage (just in case).

That could be arranged...

You're a smart man though- protect your family first, have fun second. I'll be caging the LC before we wheel much with a kid in the back.

Sadly, I will not be able to go this year. Too much work travel and a non-functioning rig. It was fun to lead the group thru BV carange two year in a row, but Volcom is just going to have to step to the plate this year.

That's too bad about our only Jeeper not being able to make it. We'll miss your winch pulls up the exit of BV Carnage
