I'll probably be camping. Either of the two sites sounds fine. Are we thinking group reservations or should I set up my own?

Not real stoked on location or timing, but there is going to be a guy with a video camera there. Interesting.

Any new news?

So who's making up the shirts and stickers for this thing. I missed out on trinkets from the first one I attended and don't want to let that happen again.

Mojo, I know you've got the whole cafepress thing going, can you get it done? (by the way I love the warning sign design, my wife walked the entire stretch of Schofield pass after she saw the one up there!)

Turboale, you do any more work on your design? I'm not sure how well the one I did would show up on a sticker or shirt, but I am more than willing to work more on it if the masses want to go that way.

Sorry to be pushy about this, I'm just ready to put in my order.

OH yeah, any one got the contact # for Ami's Acres?

Yeah - whatever the final design is - I am willing to put it up on my cafepress account. I think Ric was going to post up another design for approval. Ric??

Mark/Ric,
I called Ami's Acres today and looks like with each of us making our own reservations we are looking at $20 per site per night (a posible $3 extra for extra something, but I don't rememberexactly what. My wife and I, our 1 tent and 1 truck would be the $20). This was above the original $7 pp/pn that was mentioned so I thought I ought to post up and see what the deal was. Oh yeah, and he is requiring a 3 night stay to make reservations for the labor day weekend.

You still spelled the city wrong...It's Glenwood Springs (not Glynwood). I dont care for the lake but other than that it looks nice.

What trails are you considering; any links to descriptions? I've never been to that area.

Nope,
Mark, What are the rules about multiple vehicles per camp site? I don't need a site, all I need is a parking spot with an electrical outlet (optional, but preferable). If he allows multiple vehicles per site then I'd be happy to share a spot with someone so it would be cheaper for the both of us.

Rocket,
ha, I totally forgot to change that... :pat: I'll get on posting a new version...

my try

well I was bored today, so I thought Id take a shot at the logo,

I have no art backround, or do I work with any programs that would help. so I just used what i had,
If any one wants to give it a shot, feel free.
Once i get a few more pics for the logo, Ill send them to another person, and we will take the best 6 or so, and post up a poll (no one will know who did what) for you all to decide, and go with that.
we need to get this rolling, IF anyone else wants to help out, please speak up.
let me know what ya think.

Very nice ric.

I like the bottom one best, but i would say, erase the whole backgroud, and leave the foreground, and the rock the truck is on. It's too "busy" though i hate to use that word. But yeah, keep it a little more simple.

But I like that a lot.

Jambo Clinometer

I got a crazy idea, and did a little looking around to find prices, but I was thinking it would be kind of cool to have something like this

of corse the font can be changed, or we could just put CO4RJ on it, or what ever, the cost would be right at $7.00 each IF we order (the min.) of 100 pieces.
IF we could get 100 pieces sold, I will go forward with this, if not, no biggie. it would take about 2 weeks for us to get them, and i would give to who buys them at the Jambo.
Ric
