Good luck with this years Jambo and keep us posted on it. We appreciate the opportunity be part of it. If anyone needs anything before you go just let us know and we will get you taken care of. Also if anyone needs anything while you are there and we can get it for you we will be happy to overnight anything. We did this a couple weeks ago for the TTORA event and I know it made getting back home possible for guy that broke on day one. We are here to help in anyway we can.

something like that, raffel tickets will be $5.00 each (buy as many as you want) the ticket itself has 2 parts, both will have the same nunber on it, you keep one part, we will put the other part in a sealed box, at the raffel, we will do one item at a time, but have any and all kids, pull a ticket out of the box, they will (or i can, people say I have a big mouth, lol) call out the number on the ticket, if one of your tickets is a match, you win. that simple.
at the raffel, we will decide where we want the procedes to go.
and you must be present to win, this will make things go easier.
we want this to be fun, stress free, and want everyone to leave with something, along with new friends lol

Im sure it wont be a problem, your welcome to ride with us, may have to sit in the back seat, but Im sure someone will step up, that has the passenger seat open.

Just got back late Sunday evening from running Pearl Pass, along with Montezuma Basin, Gunsight Pass, Devil's Punchbowl, Lead King & Crystal. You may want to split the group into those with lockers and those w/o for Pearl. Those w/o are going to have to work hard to get up several sections on Pearl, IMO. With F/R lockers, I still had to pick my way a little on it, though spotting was not necessary.

Pearl was the least travelled (next to Gunsight which is closed on the south side). Saw only one CJ & one TJ, and about 8 motorcycles in about 4 hours.

Lead King can be done with 2WD LO & locked rear diff. It's much smoother than the Crystal road, except for the last mile before the intersection with Devil's Punchbowl (road to Schofield). Gunsight makes a gorgeous side trip off Slate Creek road on your way down to CB. It has a very consistent grade all the way to the (Daisy?) mine. Above the mine it gets quite interesting . (has a carsonite "Motor vehicle travel not recommended" sign.) But the view from the top is spectacular. The trail starts off with a good dunking in Slate Creek. If you take it about 10 mph, you'll probably have water coming over your hood .

Had to winch a stock Suburban w/HT tires off a rock, half way up the Punchbowl.

HTH

Me and my friend went up transfer trail on Saturday. We went to about the top of the stock drive. The trail was nice and still in good shape.

Pearl pass was the most isolated trail I've done. I saw one 4 runner, one jeep and 2 bicycles the whole time I was on it. You guys will have a great time doing it, the boulder fields up there are magical and the views spectacular. Wish I could make it this year.

Raven, no flame needed, we are on PAGE 5 here. What Ric said plus based out of Glenwood Springs. You'll need to read the CO4RJ sign up post to see where different people are staying.

My next question would be if it would be okay to be driving a Polaris Ranger, instead of a 4runner. I no longer have the 4runner as some might know.
