CO4RJ, Aug 14-16, official info and registration
Sorry it took so long for the rest of the details. The info page and registration form for CO4RJ 2003 is now available here:
http://www.trailseeker.com/4x4/mods/...2003/index.htm
Please complete the on-line registration form if you think you'll be there just so we can improve planning. Thanks!
Let me know if the php registration form pukes on you.
The corresponding 4x4wire thread about CO4RJ is here but I'll check both forums.
The previous Yotatech thread about the dates was here, but please use this thread now.

I'm registered.
I'm signed up for easy Friday and hard Saturday since i'm leading those trails. I signed up for easy Saturday since those trails will be new territory for me.
I'm tenting in the campground and i'll be cooking dinner there each night also. For the potluck i'm going to tweak Tom's spicy red beans and rice Maybe a pot with sausage and one without. I'm not sure yet.
This spot should be pretty much bear free since its across the highway from their main hangouts. I'm still going to take better precautions this time.
Hurry up August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got registered for all the hard trails. I can't wait, actually I have to wait, my 4runner is still in pieces .
Once I get the ORS shafts put on, I'm looking into slaping on some rear disc brakes. I don't know if I'll have them done by August, but I'm going to try.

I am registered.
I will be tenting it, arriving on Wednesday afternoon or night depending on how things go, then leaving again Sunday morning for a straight burn to Wisconsin.
Is Wheeler Lake the one that we tried to do last weekend Matt?
I will be cooking some nights and restauranting others, but because I may be flying solo, I could be taken to cooking more than eating out, we shall see.
Rear discs Steve, I would like to see that!

Topo of Wheeler Lake trail
Expect one hour of highway between camp and the dirt road that goes to Wheeler, then 15 minutes of dirt road to the trailhead. Mapquest says its 1:06 from Nathrop to Alma. The turn off the highway is another 13 minutes past Alma.
I hope everyone can keep up on the highway climbs with the supercharged hot rods like Jeff drives .

I'm pretty stoked too. I finally got a 3 tooth puller to pull the Tripod joint from the axle shaft. It's funny, one shaft needed a puller, the one tripod slid right off the shaft. At any rate, I was able to get the boots on to the shaft, now I just need to get em packed and slapped back on the 4Runner. Hopefully, I'll have all the pics done this weekend and a full write up next week, to include Rough Country's Super Strut. I have been told that the valving on the Rough Country is a little stiffer than stock, I hope this is true. The lower strut mounti s pretty tough looking, I'll get some pics up pretty soon.

I was looking forward to meeting "Sonoran Steel" Steve Schaefer. That's disapointing, but hopefully this will not be my first and last event. So I am sure there will be another chance. When are you hosting the AZ4RJ???

Yeah, I'm sure you'll break down and that would be an ideal opportunity.
I got this really suckey job last January and It was either stick it out until Aug and have our house a disaster and not see the kids or resign now and miss the CO4RJ.
Yeah the job was that bad. Today is my last day. It's a call center job of all things. You just can't find IT jobs in Phoenix right now.

Really sorry to hear that you can't make it Steve, everyone should have the pleasure of meeting you. Hope things work out in the end.
The rest of you, come on, it will be fun!

If I get an actual IT job by then, I can come. I think I'll even bring the FJ-62. Although 252 to 1 would be nice too........
I'll hit the job search hard in July, If I find something, I'll be there.

Is there a place that lists who is coming and/or what they are running?
Perhaps adding a running list to the thread would increase interest, or at least increase mine.
Thanks gents.
