I am definately out. It would be impossible for me to get a new arm, go down to Pueblo to repair it and get back in time. I have no clue what was going on on that trip, but it was super bad carma.. Nothing could go right.

Let me know.
Thanks for the offer! Somebody from the Marlin board also offered up a driver side knuckle. All I would need would be the knuckle. 3 of the 4 ARP studs are still good and I still have my stock studs. Let me think about it and I'll let you know. I'm still kinda burnt about the weekend and wheeling/wrenching in general. My mood might change later in the week and I might change my mind about the Jambo.

Thanks again for the offer!

Wow! I'm kind of glad I didn't go to Blanca.

Part of wheeling is having days like that, it sucks but it happens (trust me, I've had a few myself ). You still have two weeks to get the truck fixed and I guarantee this trip will be more fun.

I also have a drivers side knuckle, I could UPS it to you tommorrow. I bet if you order up a couple studs from TG that they would be here before the weekend.

Let me know what I can do to help, it really wouldn't be the same without you there.

Yeah, I'm kinda glad you didn't go either. It wasn't fun. We'll hit up that trail later and I'll get my revenge

Thanks for the knuckle offer J! I'll let you know if I need it.

Come on Aaron, I'm trying to get my dual trannys in by then, and a block of 6061-T6 aluminum is being machined into my adapter today. Talk about cutting it close. I will be there, but most likely I will only have 1 transmission.

C'mon, I'm driving from San Diego - don't fail me now!

Oh no! The only thing that will fix your wrenching funk is restudding and reknucking and rearming what went wrong and getting all triumphy over that bad carma [sic].

Besides, my vinyl guy went and ordered the batch printed anyway even though I told him to hold on, so I've got to get enough of y'all to be there with a fiver so I can get CO4RJ steekers to everyone, or I'm going to take $200 in the shorts. On the plus side, it looks like he's gone and given me more than I asked for, so everyone gets four and possibly five. Let's see, that's one for the toolbox, two for the truck, one for your wife's toy (or Toy), and one for you kid to put on his big-wheel.

STICK

It looks like I am still in.
Have to fix a lower airbag mount that bent on my last trip out and rework my OBA system that pukes too much compressor oil.
If I get the parts in time, I'll be there.

My driver side knuckle has a broken ARP stud & a stripped hole. Only got 2 solid studs on that side. I need to find another driver side knuckle and tear apart the frontend. I doubt that will happen in 2 weeks.

Sorry, I know this has been in the works since last year's Jambo. I will get some raffle tickets made and get them to somebody that is going to be there. They can collect the $$$ and either get the money to Stay the trail or get it to me and I'll get it to them.

I was really looking forward to being a part of the largest Toyota wheeling event in the state. I was also looking forward to hanging out with everyone and meeting some of the new faces.

Have fun & take some good pics & video!
Screw that! I have one you can have. Get that bitch on the trailer and we will fix it IN CAMP on Thursday night. Bring some grease and a new inner axle seal and I will bring my tools. I can rebuild a complete outer in about 30 minutes. Order up what studs you need and I will back out the stock ones before I head down.

Call me. We will make this happen!

OK, you guys win I'll make it. Let me know what you want for that knuckle Scotty. I was going to try and fix it here but we'll just crank it out Thursday night. Parts are ordered and should be here next week.

Thanks again guys for all the offers and help to get me back wheeling. I was just kinda burnt when I wrote that post. It was a long weekend of work with maybe 6 hours of sleep total.

To get a better idea of screennames to rigs, let's post a pic (or two) of what we'll be driving at the event.

Bring a decent jackstand, 2x10" block to put it on and a bottle jack.

What do I want for the knuckle?

Nothing. I want to hang around the fire making fun of someone with you.

Tell Jeff, his sorry ass needs to be there too. He can ride shotgun with you.

I am going to try to make it. As of now it mostly depends on when I get the parts. If I get them by Friday I will get the 4runner this weekend. If I get them later I wil be getting the 4runner the weekend of the Jambo. Maybe I can get there on Friday night.

I am going down to Pueblo this weekend to get your knuckle for you. I will be heading back Sat evening/night, so anytime after that I can get it to you. Let me know what day and time works best.

I ordered the same arm so I didn't have to buy two of them. I just got of the phone with them and it looks like I won't be getting the parts untill Wed. next week. Is my knuckle at your dads house?

Yeah, all of your stuff is over at my dad's. All of E_ROCK's tools are over there as well. Can you take them to him on your way up?

We grabbed a green water container when we left Medano on Sunday. Is it yours? James was missing a water container.
