Chalk Creek campground is now almost fully booked on tent sites (if anyone cares). They still had 2 or 3 available last time I checked. They have a big ATV group that booked the group site for that weekend. Might be a lot of ATVs running the trails too.

Thanks for the heads up mt_goat! You're always welcome to come hang out at our campsite with the other Toyota owners that are planning on camping at the free campsite.

Would you bring me one of those 3/4" D-ring shackles, (181003)? All I can find here are the painted ones, I like those galvinized ones better.

looks like a hell of a good time. I'm on vacation this whole week but maybe could swing this little trip as well.
Sorry I've been away from the site for a while but ever since the drag strip opened the toy has taken a back seat to the GTO.

Don't have to apologize about being away, sounds like a fun GTO to have.

Aaron, are we going to split up the runs a bit? As in, either stagger groups for starting the trail, or just plain do different days.
Point being, there look to be three groups coming: Newer trucks/and or newer to wheeling, looking to take it easy and have fun, moderate: wheeling for a while, some modifications to the truck, and hardcore.
If the hard core guys want to do anything besides carnage, they are going to be super bored in a group of 29 trucks. In addition, speaking from my own experience, it also sucks for the guy at the other end, being stockish in a group of built trucks. You feel like you are just holding the group back.
Anyway, just some thoughts.

I figured the Hardcore schedule would be
Holy Cross - Friday (4-6 rigs so far)
Carnage - Saturday (8 rigs so far)
Iron Chest - Saturday night (??? # of rigs)
Chinamans - Sunday (20 rigs)
In years past, people had to sign up for trail runs each day. I'm trying something different. People will have to talk to other people and ask them what they drive and what kind of trails they want to run.
I don't mind running Chinamans or Holy Cross with other runs that aren't considered "Hardcore". The only exception will be BV Carnage. Locked F&R, and 35's are pretty much manditory for that trail.
I'm open to any suggestions to the current trail and rig signup. Thanks for the thoughts Issac!

Poorboyota - You still planning on leaving Thursday night? I'm going to take off from Pueblo after work (about 5pm) so I'll be rolling into the campsite area @ 7:30-8pm. I'll shoot you a PM with my cell # so we can try and find each other to establish a campsite big enough to hold 30+ rigs
Could I call somebody here Thursday night once I get a campsite location to post the location of the campsite here, Yotatech, and the Marlin board? That would help me out a ton so everybody knows where camp is located!
Thanks!

I need that for my 4runner.
I'm planning on being there to mount it up and to take it out and test it.
