Scott Yoder - yeah, that first obstacle on Grizzly can be a pain. I didn't have a problem going down, but my 4Runner is smooth there so it won't hang up on anything.
I keep running out of time to post my pics. My pics look the same as others... so here's a couple links to pics that Mike B. took from Iron Chest during the Isuzu event.

All of Mike's pics are at: http://www.planetbantz.com/pics/072805cozu7/index.html
which includes Chinaman's and Iron Chest.

Is this from Chinaman's? http://www.planetbantz.com/pics/0728.../target14.html

Yeah, what Steve said. Steve Hunt has the only 3rd gen 4Runner that has ever made it up the very hard line at the far left. That's why Steve Schaefer keeps talking about trying to fit in Chinaman's as a 2nd trail on days that are already pretty full (such as Holy Cross, which is a long ways away and is normally a full day anyway).

Is this the easiest way up Wheeler or is there a by pass for this? http://www.hunt4steve.com/excursions...e/P8220106.JPG

We definitely have to get Steve S. up there as a bonus run. I really want to see him give it a go. I say Friday after you guys do Holy Cross. I'll have no wife and kids around that evening. Plus there shouldn't be people on the trail then. I'll do it twice that day I don't care. I've done Chinamans in 1.5 hrs before with one other rig.

On whale rock the the cable was out but did not have any pulling on it. There was traction on the front wheels- that is why an axle was snapped the year before. I bet with my short wheel base I lay it on the arse end....weeeee.

Still need scenic leaders.
Still need a moderate leader for Wheeler on Saturday.
I am tempted to start a group on Chinamen's who is a little undergunned, take the big trucks to Iron Chest then see if we can catch you on Chinamen's. The hold up last time on Iron Chest was stopping to let my tranny cool and taking a loooooong lunch.
I will e-mail all who have e-mailed me to confirm camping costs and payment. I need to be paid before the event so I can pay the campground myself at the event.
Right now, I think we are sitting at half from out of state.

I was a fat guy on that cable. I usually am.
Pulled up? Safety? He drove it and I have never seen anyone else drive it with a similar rig. My tail was between my legs and I bypassed.

Depending on the day that Heather make it there I may have anywhere from 2 seats to 3 seats open for anyone that wants to tag along.
Adrian is the atractive hairy guy with the sweet butt.

I think Jim and Adrian, and anybody else who wants to come, should ride shotgun. Schaefer has 3 extra seats, I have 3 extra seats, unless Carole wants to go (I haven't asked her yet
), but I think it would be really cool. Brent, you have any extra seats in your rig???

Dale, I used to be. I knew who you were and was going to see how long it took to figure who I was.
Thanks Steve.
I'm coming in the RAV.
Everyone who has e-mailed me, expect info for payment by Monday morning.

For those of you at the last Jamboree, you probably remember our Russian friend Oleg. He has a full service shop in Aurora, and asked me to post up an open invitation for the use of his shop this weekend, the 13th and 14th. Basically if you need something welded on or a modification completed he and his brother would be willing to help.
He is hoping to visit us briefly at the Jamboree this year again. He and his brother have plans and are in process of building each of themselves a sweet 3rd gen. But, they are not ready yet, so he would be bringing his 80 series again. They just installed my marlin and cross member skid plate and did a fabulous job. I know they also fixed up Darren's rig.
Anyway, you can contact him for more details at 303-340-5960. Let him know if your planning to come. His shop is near I-225 and 6th.
