Well excellent, looks like I have another trip added to my summer agenda. I don't know if I'll end up bringing the dog or not so it's good to know that I can. And don't worry, I'll bring plenty of for us all. If we end up going through it all in one night then I think we should all plan on attending the next AA meeting. Thanks for all the quick replies.

Few pointers:
All beer MUST be drank before you leave the campsight- no leftovers go home is an official rule. PBR is allways a welcome brew.

There is an "off the leash" area up by the parking area with poop bags and garbages- it is dog friendly.

Jim is right- if there is an open seat for the Big Rock trails hop in for a day- you will learn a lot and get a chance to see some pretty cool shiznick.

Adrain- do we get to do some "test" runs before hand to inspect the trails for changes?

Yes, good reminder about the beer rule . Brent and I are the official left over beer recepticals, should the need arise . You wouldn't want to be found out of compliace on your first CO4RJ.

I am up for pre-runs, hikes, whatever it takes.

Still working on getting a site up.

No drinking on the trails, the beer has to come out in camp. Some people will be here with their fams, so keeping things reasonable when the kids are around is important.

Also, quiet time at Chalk Creek is 10. Last year we got some static, part of which was deserved. If you are an above average drunken fool, please tone it down for this weekend.

At 2003 CO4RJ it looks like: Adrian, Koop (Michael), Schaefer, Jerry, Steve Hunt, Martin, and myself made it to the city.

In case you're curious, Ziad is still hosting pics from the first 3 CO4RJ's at this link: www.reapur.com/car

I can say I tried it the year before that when I only had one locker, although that wasn't at a CO4RJ. The rocks in the Creek were also in a very different location and the easiest line was to the left of where we tried it last year. At that time there was still a bush further to the right of that. My rear tires slid left and I got kinda stuck. I had to winch off from that point. If I would have had a front locker then, I probably would have made it.

This looks like it is going to be a blast. About how far away is Buena Vista from Fort Collins? I don't if I've ever been up near there. Just out of curiosity, are there any good spots to fish near there?

It was jet lag- that is the excuse and I am sticking to it. Are you coming young man?

If I remeber correctly it is around 3 hours from Fort Collins to the camp sight. If things are planned properly we could caravan with Cheese.

Tacopie,

You will be camped on Chalk Creek. The Arkansas River is close.
Many lakes are close to the campground in almost any direction.

I forgot to mention the fishing- I have brought the fly rod along and caught fish at both Wheeler and Taylor lake. Small but you still can catch them. The camp spot is also right next to a creek that people have fished in-(not sure if they have caught any thing besides crabs from Jim).

I hope to leave Thursday night from work. I would guess a strong three hours from Fort Fun.

The trail schedule might be juggled since I have some good leadership stepping up.

I am slacking on website stuff, but will have it soon.

It should be a good time to see old folks and new. Hard to believe both Steve's trucks will have solid axles. When we first came to these things, most of us had two open diffs.

I did not mean the drunk stuff towards anyone. I just mean to say some will come with family, so we can have a good time, but try to behave. It has not been a problem in the past, and I do not expect it to be in the future.
