My rear tires slid left and I got kinda stuck. I had to winch off from that point. If I would have had a front locker then, I probably would have made it

YAY, all my lift stuff is on the way!! I hope to get it all installed in the next couple weeks.
That means I'll be a little bigger than stock for this trip.

Wondering why this event is more for 3rd gen Runners? Why not 1st or 2nd gens?
Is anyone aware of a similar event for "older" Toyota rigs in Colorado?
Also, could somebody post up directions (lets say from Denver) to the mentioned trails and camp site?
thanks...

This is open to ALL Toyota's, all models of 4wd and all years. Last year we had 1st, 2nd & 3rd Gen Runners, All Gen's of trucks, Taco's, and Crazy Ivan in his 80 LC.
Directions and details will be posted on a CO4RJ web site soon.
Hope to see you there.
Jake.

I will finalize stuff in the next two weeks. Brian is helping with the less modified trails and I am slacking off on the webpage.
Plan on a Saturday potluck after 7.
Plan on one locker days on both Holy Cross and Chinamen's.
Plan on a great time.
If you don't play well with others, plan on not coming. If you are looking to meet new people and wheel, come on out.
At the very least, the campground is reserved and we can all hang out, but I plan for it to be more organized than that.
E-mail me if you can or want to lead trails.

This is for all Toyotas.
Jeff started it and it was mostly 3rd Gens. As I said, the past has been more than half, some times around 75% 3rd Gens.
If you have a Toyota with a little lever, come and wheel.

I will be there but i dont know what im driving. If I still have the ppickup then i really want to run holy cross. I may be selling it soon and building something better so I will try to get that together before but either way i promise i wont need a tow up the hill this year. After i tore apart the 22r i found a warped and craked cylinder head but all is good and it runs awsome now. It will be nice to see everyone again and this time I will be able to make it for more than one day. Adrian Ill let you know when I get my plans figured out.

To throw it out:
Biggest Rocks: Holy Cross, Iron Chest, Chinamen's
Medium Rocks: Chinamen's with bypasses open, Wheeler Lake, Holy Cross below the city
Scenic Rocks: Weary Man/Resolution, Mount Antero/Etc. Mt. Bross/Etc.
This is pending my mood, time and Jake's approval.
Wheeler is a good trail, but will have to start early.
I am putting in long hours and will be out of town at the tail end of this week, but then I will be back after it.

Hey all, I'm gonna try to make it. I haven't been able to meet anyone from the board, so this would be a great oportunity (sp) to get to know everybody.
I'll pm you when I know for sure. Hope to meet you all there.
