Sorry guys, worked until 3am. I actually did get up somewhat early, 7am, but I looked out at that nasty rain and jsut couldn't bring myself to go out there and put my tires on. I finally got motivated at about 1030. I am (was) with you in spirit on this trip though! Hope y'all had fun in the mud and rain...and mud!

Anyone back yet...? I'm curious how the weather was down in that area today. It's been very windy/rainy along I-90.

What the hell was I saying. Boy I must have been too tired to type. It was about 2:30am when I wrote this.

Anyway to answer your question Jim. We were getting drenched. Wind gust at the lake had to be close to 40/50 mph it felt with snow on the ground. There were a few times that it calmed down. However Im still trying to thaw off my back side.
Oh did I mention it was colder than snot.

All said and done it was a really fun run. Wish you could have made it.

Yeah, there weren't anywhere near as many pics as folks are used to out of this crowd , but there are some (including a video!)... and some stores as well.

I'll get mine posted up later tonight.

...and I'll need some help with names and alias - I was shivering too much to pay a lot of attention to names. We had 9 trucks out... I remember:

David (Mad Chemist)
Mike (smr4runner)
Jowie
Ducky
MIDIWall +1
Jim (alias? 4x4wire moderator) +1
LA (alias?)
Scott (IndieFIRE) +2
"Dan"? (alias? Mr. SpareKey )

Sorry Folks...

It was dang cold today, but a lot of fun. It was cool to see the firsthand changes that a couple of inches of snow could make to the technical aspect of a trail.

The conversation went something like this...

"Dan, where's your spare key?"
"In my wallet"
"Where's your wallet?"
"In the truck"

Yes... We all laughed.

Pics are up!

I'll probably add more commentary later... But you'll get the idea from what I have there.

As other folks post pics (and the movie!) I'll add their links to that page as well.

Actually, what David is drawing from are three different events that happened to... three different people!

It was a weird run with those things happening, but none of them proved to cause any serious trouble and added to the overall fun of the day. Mark exacted his revenge on the Carbonado stump, and other saw that our previous pictures don't do this stump any justice. I hope to get pictures up today. I don't know what to do with the video, since I don't have a website, I can't really "host" them. Anybody have any ideas?
