Damnit!!!!

I really hate to do this, I hate flakes. But, my truck doesn't look like it will be ready by saturday. I guess one of the mechanics had a family emergency and the shop is slow. My truck is still apart and far from done.

I was all ready to go to. I guess I can't make my first yotatech run either. Text can't describe my dissapointment, but it's out of my hands.

Unless you guys think my girlfriends stock 1992 Mazda B2200 2wd can hang with the yotas. J/K

Phalanx and I will probably be leaving San Diego sometime after 2PM and getting in whenever traffic permits. Maybe 5PM or so?

 

i'll be rolling in saturday am around 8'sh. If i dont make it there by 9:30 that means i'm still sleeping.

 

I took the day off tomorrow, but I've got a dental appointment at 12pm, so I'll be heading up after that. See everyone friday night.

Come on up, you can always hitch a ride and enjoy some of the hardcore trails or just wheel the GF's rig on the fire roads, she'll love the scenery.

 

There's no way she'd let me touch dirt in her truck, she barely lets me drive it on pavement while my runner is gettin built. I'd like to come hang out, but I would probably be pretty bummed without my rig. You have to know the anticipation I feel after spending thousands of dollars on along travel setup. I can't stop thinking about while I'm in the office, let alone if I were out on the trail.

I was looking at the past runs and I noticed a trip to anza borego last year. We need to set at least one of those up this year. I think that's where my truck will be most "at home". I'll make the next run I SWEAR!!!

Son-of-a-beech.... Sorry, something came up. I won't be able to make it up on Sunday :cry: . Hope you all had a great time. I will be going up with TTORA on the weekend of Aug 20-22. Maybe some of you will be there then.
