Hey all I'm new here, I was just wondering what michigan has to offer for trails. I am located smack in the middle in midland. any tips would be appreciated. thanks

I'm part of a south michigan christian 4x4 club. You don't have to be christian to join, we just wheel a lot together and hang out and stuff. As for wheeling places, the only places I"ve wheeled on is at the mounds in Flint, and at our private land in Stevensville. I'll be up in Ann Arbor in January if you wanna go on a snow run.

 

Might want to try near Lewiston, Hillman, Atlanta, Alpena area... A lot of State Land....

Or when all else fails, you can hit the Michigan DNR Website and they have maps and so forth.... You will need a ORV Sticker from Sec. of State.

the only place i have found is some land being devoloped behind my g/fs house (ritzy suburbia) but there are a couple fun things to drive through and i get no hassle for goin back there. I'm gettin the ORV sticker soon and i'll start searchin. prob not a good idea to wheel during deer season? i'm not a hunter so i dunno
