3rd Annual Squaw Ridge/Pardoes Trail: August 4-5, 2012

Still a tad early, but after talking about it with friends I'm ready to start planning this thing. The way this winter is panning out, hopefully snow will not be a factor then. Located near Lake Tahoe in CA, this is a great trail for rigs of all shapes and sizes. We had a few stockers out there last year who made it through with no problems, as well as a couple of SAS'ed trucks working some of the tougher routes. Accoring to chrismcdowell25's awesome GPS tracking, it shows the trail being 16.9 miles long. An overnight camp will be required at the halfway point of the trail.

This trail is fun and challenging. Lockers, sliders and a lift will help you, but like mentioned before stockers can make it through. There are some bypasses around the rock gardens, but last year they seemed to be just as hard.

If you love getting out to wheel in the sierras with spectacular views, this is the trip for you! We had 16 rigs last year, including a member who came all the way from Utah to enjoy the outing.

Lol, the time is flying by for me! Should definitely have the e locker by then, and hopefully a rooftop tent. I don't imagine there will be any snow at all by then, according to accuweather.com we won't be getting any more snow storms for the next month. At least around here.

This run might have to be cancelled!

Read the following thread, bad news, very bad news.
Get active in politics no matter how much you think it sucks because loosing our trails suck more!

Seriously, this kills almost all the Eldorado National Forest trails!
