yea, I know I'll be camping at Windrock and maybe even wheelin' in the country. But I think my parents might be thinking about going on a long trip to montana this summer sometime, not for wheelin' but I think it would be a good time.

My plan is to go on as many Colorado runs as I can this spring and summer. I haven't been on too many of them, so any experience helps. Any trip I can't drive, I'll ride along on with somebody. I will definitely, however, plan a trip up Medano Pass. Not so much for the challenge of it, but because my home town is on the other side of the mountain, just north of the dunes, and I'd like to visit it from a different direction. As for Moab, we should start planning a trip there ASAP Colorado folks!

Yeah Dekri, you've got an awesome 2nd gen. air them tires down to like 9psi. My truck couldn't have done that ledge either, my bumpers would've hit before my tires. There are plenty of trails we can do in Colorado with near-stock rides.
And Ric, yeah, we'll talk about a Moab trip next time we go wheeling. I want enough notice to call some time off of work and plan the trip properly. I'm not one for the last minute, spur of the moment Moab trip.

i'll spot, Kyle, you'll be fine anyway, wheeler will be easier than you think, and many others are within your reach.
I am probably going to Moab in March and again in May for Cruise Moab. I also want to hit New Mexico.
For Colorado:
1)Chinamans Gulch
2)Iron Chest
3)Spring Creek, this time to finsh the rock garden
4)Kelly Flats
I'm also down with most other trails, just want to hit those 4 for sure

Chinamen's is a one locker trail.
If you take all the bypasses, you could get a stocker through with good driving.
Rising Sun is having a run down there to start April and I assume more will be around later.
Holy Cross above the Creek is another good one to see where you sit in the food chain.

Sit in the food chain is a nice way of putting it
seems like its where you find out how much weight you got hanging in your sack. If you got a couple 80 pounders, you'll find out, or you'll roll.
As i recall, didnt a couple people get a bit tippy up there over last summer? I seem to remember a post along those lines in one of steve's trail reports.
Looks like chinamans can be what you want it to be, hard or not, depending on where you put the truck.
