No no the kid is good. U dont have to watch ur mouth around him he knows not to repeat what he hears. And he is well behaved. His dad is ex military so he grew up with the iron fist. Hes actually really smart and mature for his age. I just wanted to know if u guys minded. but anyways this sounds cool. Gonna have alot of fun. I've never went on a big run with tons of people. B4 the date comes I wanna try and get my rear springs converted to actual leafs with no blocks kuz right now i have the stock leafs with those retarded blocks in the back. I already broke one in half. And i myte have my new rear end gears by then. Hopefully. And im thinken i should find me a spare tire just incase kuz i yet to have one of those.

Hey all, I think I may come up from Oregon. What kind of trails are talking about here. If I come up up in my bone stock 98 4runner will I be playing camera man the whole time?

There's a couple of posts farther up this list that deal with this. To paraphrase. You will expect some Cascade pinstriping, but if you follow directions and take Rob's Trail 101 class, you should come out without any damage. If it's dry, you will have a blast. If it's really wet, things will get more interesting :o)

No fee at all, this event is FREE! As always when wheeling there is the possibility of damage and possibly rolling, but you would have to do something really stupid to roll on the Naches trail. There will be multiple runs, everything from so easy you could drive a lowered Honda Civic up it, to hard enough to make you wet your pants. We will be camping but Whistlin' Jack's is not too far away if you absolutely refuse to rough it but where is the fun in that?

There will be runs available for all skill levels. We will have anywhere from scenic forest service road runs to the hardcore stuff for the brave at heart.
It will all be to your choosing.
So, to answer your question, “what are the chances of rolling”, the possibilities will be there. It will be up the individual to decide what skill level he/she fits in.
The main run will be the Naches west to east run.
I ran this as a newbie last year. My only mods were a 2inch lift, running boards removed, and all terrain tires.
This was my first official group run. Prior to this all my experience was riding FS roads and light trails.
If you are looking for a run that is going to be technically challenging to keep you focused, this is the run for you. It’s not a ride to grandmas house but it’s a very doable run.
The trail will start out very mild with open terrain and change to tight turns, good hill climbs, some off camber spots, and maybe one or two pucker hills.
I enjoyed this run because unlike some runs, this started out very mild and slowly got technical. It gave me the opportunity to adjust to the terrain. Once the terrain got to be manageable I was introduced to the next obstacle.
I was enjoying the whole experience so much that I forgot about how difficult it may have been. Before I new it we were heading out of the trail.
For those of you who can attend the Trial 101 Class this coming Saturday June 7th, I highly recommend it. I attended this class last year and will be attending again as a refresher.
Oh and all you 3gen 4Runners. This would be a great place to finally meet up everyone.

Glad you like the board here.
Us Washatonian's are spread out pretty good here, but I live about 40 minutes from Greenwater, and that is mainly where I go.
I consider it my home away from home.
Here are some of the runs I catalog when we go.
The oldest are listed first.

It's a family oriented event, bring as many friends as you like.
The schedule of the trail class and when/where the runs will happen is almost finalized, we will be posting it soon.
A solid axle swap isn't cheap, it can be done for around a grand but you've gotta have good fab skills and equipment/tools. There's also a good amount of planning to put into it, as well as collecting the axle and other parts. If all goes well I'll be doing the swap on my truck before the event, but it's been in the works for over two years now.

I would still like to get hooked up on some deals, but the rangers have a fit, basically having kittens right there in front of you, if you have fireworks out there. The woods are too dry and it ticks off the people around you.
