Ok wanted to see what everyone thinks here. There is a listing for newer HILUX truck located in the USA on Ebay. It sells to call the owner to discuss the paperwork details. Supposedly the truck was bought in the Guatemala and the guy sold the truck to this import dealer in the USA as he drove it and stayed in the US for like a year for work. OK I know it would be difficult if not impossible to register the truck in the USA with the current Guatemala title but the current owner (dealer) has been driving around in the truck with a dealer plate on it. So the question I dont get is what stops an individual from buying the Hilux (which is already in the states) and just getting a dealer tag for it and driving it. Seems to me the only downside is the cost/time to get the dealer tag. Any thoughts guys.

you can get a hi lux from your local toyota dealer theirs a few here thier practically a base model toyota at least all the ones ive seen
