Good build on this '94 4Runner?

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/3362341363.html

Im lookin to buy a 4runner. I want it for a daily driver and general wheeling. Do u guys think this is a good choice of rig? I know alot of work has been done to and I'm wondering if the parts that were put on are a good choice really. Thanks for info!!

It looks pretty clean but there are some things that kinda puzzle me, for one he says the steering rack was rebuilt, there is no steering rack so he must mean the steering gear? Also if there is only 72k on the motor, why did he have to change the water pump 6k ago? There has to be some wheel spacers out back since the Land Cruiser axle is 5.5 inches wider. I would want some receipts for the work he claims was done.

i think I have seen this truck around.
weird that it doesn't look like there are spacers on the back.
Warn Hubs..not the greatest
running 35's you will want to address the front brakes sooner than later
Like James said--i would ask to see receipts...also find out about the total miles on the truck..72K on the rebuild but could be 200K+ on truck

8" lift is a high lift for a DD, gonna feel kind of tippy. I have been DD by '81 with 4" lift and soft springs..I need to take corners carefully...

edit: Trunion bearing eliminator kit was done 50 miles ago?? front end shouldn't be that dirty as it involves pulling the steering knuckles apart..

also interesting on the tie rod, Trail-gear tie rods are straight, that rod on this truck from the steering box to the right side of the truck is bent slightly on the passenger side...
