Gauging interest: machined shift knobs

I made myself a set of shift knobs last year and finally had time to update the design. Feeling pretty happy with it now.
Just figured I'd see if it's something people would be interested in.

I would love one, the Toyota emblem in Katakana makes it look really great.
What're you looking for price-wise? Are you trying to arrange a group buy to bring manufacturing costs down?

Well, I made that one by hand, but if the interest justifies it, I would write a program to have them cnc'd.
I can make a few by hand if that's all that's necessary, but they are fairly time consuming. I can definitely cut that time down with a proper order of operations and buying the right sized material.

Right now the lowest I can reasonably produce them for would be about 35 bucks a piece, and 60 for the pair.

That's actually a pretty reasonable price. I think similar billet knobs run for that neighborhood.
I'm definitely interested, but it may be mid January until I can swing the cash spending money wise.

Not a problem. I'm just inquiring if it's something people are interested in. If only 2 or 3 people want them, then I can make them by hand. I'm not ready to go into production just yet, but figured I'd put it out there and see what kind of a response I got.

I would buy a pair for my truck if they both had the emblem on them. Where did you get the emblem anyway? It looks perfect for the knob

I'd buy. Already rotate thru a small homemade selection of knobs of my own manufacture. Another one would be cool. And those are double badass, being original. What would I need to order one, about end of month, or mid January?

I can do the pair with the emblem. I got the emblems from
http://www.cruisercrap.com.
I'd be ready to start making them by the end of january. I'll keep you posted.
