Feeler for Scanner/CB Mount

now that i have a center console, i don't have room for the awesome mount i made.

so my question is, what would you pay for this mount?

(hypothetically, if you had the cash on hand)

-aircraft grade materials
-faa compliant
-made from alclad aluminum (highly corrosion resistant)
-easy to drill for other radios

I'd be interested if it fit a full size radio. Also having a bench seat doesn't help my case. lol.

That is a excellent looking piece of kit. Did you make that yourself? I actually have no idea what something like that should go for (I just wanted to comment on the mount) but, for who ever is going to buy it will be certainly adding functional style to their rig. Good luck on your sell.

heh, thanks guys. almost forgot: it's made to fit on the tranny tunnel. very stable

yeah, i made it. took me about 3.5 hours total, including a jog across the road for the screws.

b- it's about 4.25" wide, so i'm not sure about a full size cb. but it will fit:
-pro510xl
-pro520xl
-pro538w
-19 dx iv
shown with the 75 wx st mounted

it also has the space underneath to put a speaker

i'd say its worth at least $40. it seems to be built well and it looks pretty cool too.

thanks!

on a related note- while i was away, i looked up the actual cost of materials:
~2.5 sq-ft x $22.00/sq-ft (.040 alclad) = $55 + 28 monel rivets = $56.12

red paint. it's the duplicolor short cans they sell at advance/autozone/boys. i had some left over after my volvo-dent. if you do it, don't prime it. just clean the knob, let it dry, and put a few light coats on
