Anyone heard of these cheap ebay engine sellers

browsing around on ebay for long and shortblock 22re's comes up with some pretty cheap and questionable links...

Those are the going rates for reman engines here in So Cal. Parts are readily available and the competition is fierce so they compete. Check out Craigslist in Los Angeles you can find them at that price all day long.

The old adage is usually true, you are going to get what you pay for Justin. Don't skimp out and then need another engine in 18 months.

The number being 800-639-2949 and got a wrong number.
Scroll down the MABBCO page and go from there and do what you will.

lol that's a good sign... I came across a rebuilt 22ret complete with harness and ecu for a good deal that I'm probably going to pick up anyway.

I would wager most of these are sent to Mexico and torn down. All parts are cleaned and then put into bins where the rebuilder simply grabs how many of what he needs and the engines are put back together.

I would myself rather have my current engine rebuilt by a local machinist than get a engine with bucket parts from who knows where.
