State chapters
We are doing some "phat" trimming at YotaTech to streamline the forums and clean it up a bit.
Many of you have now created your own websites for your state chapters, and have included forums.
Is there a need to keep up the individual state chapters here?
Looking for feedback here, as some of the forums do not get much use.
We have already removed 4ROC chat since we have two other chat rooms available on YotaTech.
Thanks,

Corey,
Go ahead and remove WA, we've got our website up and running now with forums. If possible maybe just point people to the www.4roc.org main site, which has links to those states with websites up and running.

Hey guys!
I'm basicly the head of the NC chapter and webmaster of the NC site and was wondering about the forum software and what not. I have only minor web experience (I have a close friend that can help me out) but how would I go about getting this software? How and how much do the charge? If we are going to be off yotatech eventually I'm definately going to want to get a forum going on our site. What are the options? Thanks in advance!

Not trying to hijack here, just had a question. I know of at least 2 maybe 3 (can't remember) other people from Arkansas besides myself. I just wondered what it took to start up a regional 4ROC, etc. Thanks.

Kyle,
Its a pretty "loose" organization at the moment, other than owning a 4runner, no other requirements are needed (no dues or anything else). There are a couple of state chapters, but not much national organization. A website would help for getting members together, posting trail events and such.

What's the best way to contact people in my local area I wonder that are on yotatech? I figure with Oklahoma and Arkansas combined, there should be at least 15 or so people on here. Would it be possible to open a new forum from the page that has all the states for an Ark/OK section?
