You are real close.
There are a number of guys that are within an hour of you in AH.
Have you been wheeling?
Wanna Go?

Yes, been wheeling but not in SoCal. I'm originally from Oz where I did a lot of 4x4 in my 87 4Runner which I put a GM 4.2 ltr V8 into, running on duel gas.

I've just bought the 04 Runner and am very keen to do some 4x4 stuff soon. I'm new to SoCal (2weeks) and have some good books on various trails. I'd really like to do some dune/sand driving initially, to get a feel for the rigs operation without risking damage. I'm also keen on travelling with my wife and two kids - we pretty much do everything together.

Hope there's some sand stuff you guys will doing in the near future.

This is a great site. Look forward to be part of it!

Cheers
Mark

Well, welcome aboard!
Too bad you missed the Pismo trip two weeks ago... Plenty of sand up there!

Hey i've been wondering..is there any kind of club like the 4roc for pickups?? cause i've been looking at extracabs..and i'm thinking i might end up with one...i'd rather drive a truck, just because of they way they are...nothing behind you to obstruct vision and they are lighter (i don't know how long i could live with a slowinsh truck). Any clubs? not for tacos though...if i got a truck it'd still be in the years i like the 4runner in and they didn't quite make tacos then.
