Why can't the military use the area for a couple weeks and give it back? That would be fair to all wouldn't it?

Don't just lurk, or you may find yourself lurking on the otherside of a fence on lands you used to wheel on! Just post something postive, even if you have never been there. If they can take a place as huge as Johnson Valley here, what's to stop them from taking your backyard wheeling area there??

Ha, I've been a member since 02/2001... and only have 12 posts over there! Anybody can sign up and support this cause, you don't have to do anything else on Pirate except help and speak up for your lands!

The rally is over. If any of you tried to register and got an error message it was because we crashed Pirate. Yeah that was their hope - that we crash Pirate. Because that would say something (They have serious server power) Member numbers are in the 200K....

At any rate if ANY of you are reading this, sign up this next month because I imagine they will do this again, it was so successful!

Pirate is known for being a ruthless forum, but in this instance the no flaming rule was strictly enforced for the greater good of the wheeling community. It's kind of like getting Hell's angels to get along to keep motorcycle laws in check

this is the question i have, when we use the land and try to be respectful BLM complains we destroy it. ok. ok. so now the military wants to use it wtf u think they are going to do it, i would say a few artillery shells and thousands of troops with hummers and explosives are going to destroy the land. wats up with that i dont get what everyone complains about and then the government can come in and destroy wat they fight us to keep nice?
