Red FJ Cruiser
I saw this on the Warn website. http://www.warn.com/truck/mounting-s...d_bumper.shtml
I've never seen a red FJ. I remember checking them out at the dealership when they first came out and the salesman said they had red but I thought he confused it for the purple color. Anyway, i'd drive a red one, i'm not a fan of the bold colors but i could do red. So what's the deal with that.

Nope, Warn had that painted old school red from the FJ40 color.
Toyota is introducing two new (old school) colors for '08, and I think that is one of them.
The other one is rumored to be desert dune like this guy had his painted awhile back at Toyota of Dallas.

If desert dune had been offered for '07, I would have taken it over my titanium metallic.

I thought any good body shop can respray a car with whatever color you want (for a price - and more $$ for a better job - like glass out)
Givent hat Warn is a manuf and the truck is "advertsing" I suppose they had the budget to do whatever color they wanted

Here are some more shots of the dune one from start to finish.

There are two things keeping me from getting an FJ Cruiser when i finish school:
1. No solid red or tan colors offered (arguably the two most classic FJ colors)
2. no removable top
A red and tan FJ cruiser would be awesome!!!

By tan do you mean the dune color I posted above in that guy's thread?

They may be coming out with that for '08.
They are keeping the white tops, as many of the FJ40s had that, gives it the old school look.
Many are also painting their bezels white which looks good, I may do mine later.
