I have my eye on a FJ to take over my '97 4Runner's duties as my primary ride but would LOVE a removable top!

Anyone heard anything about this?

 

No word but I doubt it would be done.

 

Well, I am hopeing that the rumor is true, but I am going to get an '08 Fj anyway.

I heard that TLC is looking into doing a conversion on it.

Any new info about a removable top FJ coming from the factory? I think I would prefer a removable hardtop over a ragtop...

those guys are having trouble selling those things , i've seen the ad in autoweek all the time -

 

I was in Tulsa on business about 4 weeks ago and saw the yellow one out in front of one of the Yota dealers. My jaw dropped when I saw the soft top. It would have fell off had I seen the price tag. Still pretty cool w/ the exception of the extra bling.

hey i see those two everyday! they look pretty bling bling to me.

 

The dealer out here has a lot of them lifted. I'd say at least a 3rd of them are getting the treatment. Wheels, tires, lifts, etc.

 

i think they look stupid.... plus way overpriced
