Now to the rear end...

So my tranny is working out great. On the street,in the woods, everywhere.

I see the local mechanic and 'friend' of the previous owner.Ask WTH on the rear seals.
He says the guy had jumped the truck and was real sure the axles were bent (I'm guessing the housing)

Great, but where do I find either axles or a replacement housing for this?
What other Toyota models can replace these?

I won't be jumping it,so super strength isn't necessary but maybe stronger than stock would be good.

I have looked high and low and haven't found much,so y'all fast finger can help?

Much appreciated in advance.

Mike

car-part.com

also, the first gen tundra rear axle is supposedly the same as the T100s...you just have to find one with the same gear ratio and it "should" bolt up from what I have read. Hopefully someone can confirm this.

Yer pretty much stuck with T-100 axles...

You could try craigslist as well...but sometimes that's a crap shoot.

Kinda like the 'pick a part' too.
Everyone say 'go to the junk yard'.Then I get parts from truck that were abused worse than mine.

I may have to step up to the plate and just have a housing made. What's the worse it could be? $800?
Yeah then the axles.
