In the process of replacing the brake hoses, struts, and some other minor things. No problems with the cruise control or anything. As far as struts, I am planning on picking up a set of KYB, anybody have any info on their performance?
I have a set of KYB Gas-A-Just on my 1998 T-100 SR5 Xtra cab auto and they work just fine fer my needs. I also have a set of Roadmaster Active Suspension on the rear leafs...wouldn't go anywhere without them!

Cruise working?

coenen, did you get the cruise working? You can jump two connectors in the diag port and the cruise ecu will blink out a code on the cruise light. That might help.

I had replaced my cruise ecu/activator. That got the cruise light to come on and blink steady. Than I put a jumper in the diag port. The code told me my break light switch was bad. I replaced that and my cruise works great.

Try this link: Cruise Control System (Denso Made): Pre-Check (4Runner). It is for a 4runner but the cruise system is the same as a T100.

Here is the Web page where I found the FSM manual pages:

1997 T-100 4x4 sr5 had it going where I wanted the sweet truck. Working inside a customers house in Bath, Maine and homeowner says "hey a branch hit your truck. Branch my but!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rotten tree part falling from 50 ft. Have a lawyer hoping to get truck fixed, not be greedy.
