4x4 not engaging in low, won't go into high

Hi guys! I have a 97 T100 Auto w/ overdrive 3.4. I went to use 4x4 the other day and it shifted into low range, moved slow as it should, but didn't lock in 4x4. I tried to go to high range and it won't even go into high range at all, won't even slide back into that notch. Any thoughts? Thanks!

what have you tried?

I recently had a similar problem. Is the light on your dash showing that your truck is in 4wd?

If not then check the valves near your washer fluid reservoir. Both of mine tested bad. I replaced them and not only did my shifting problems go away, but my 4wd worked again.

I have pics on my phone that I took. I could get them posted if you want.
