My tailgate dash light does not work. When the window is down
it lets you know. Any suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks

Radio light does not work at night. Original 85 4RUNNER radio. Took it out and
looked for the build to replace. Cannot find bulb. All other lights work
on 4RUNNER. HELP!

For the radio:
Is the light inside the radio? If so, I would guess that it's probably easier to replace the radio. If you can get to the bulb, see if there are any legible codes printed or stamped on it.
Does the light work during the day (when the lights are off)? I'm guessing you mean that it either never lights, or it turns off when you turn the headlights on (time of day shouldn't impact it).

For the door light:
If you can get to the back of the bulb, run some power through it and see if it lights. If that lights it, check continuity along all of the wires, test the sensor/switch at at the tailgate.

As was previously asked: do all of the other dash lights work?

 

I'm not at home for awhile. I will check when I get back home.
I took the radio out and took it apart. I could not find the bulb
or a light source. I also took the dash apart. I could not find
a bulb for the tail gate light to replace. All the other lights,
bulbs ETC work on the 85 4RUNNER. I will try to find the Sensor
in the tailgate and see if its getting power. Thanks
