power outlets

my power outlets, be the shifter dont work. they're connected so i was just wondering if you guys have any ideas what it could be. my truck is a 99 4Runner hylander edition.

i thought that but the one thats like in front of the 4WD selector works. its just the two that are in front of the gear selector.

theres a separate fuse for rear one and front two, maybe "aux" or "power outlet" or something really simple like that, pretty much just look for the fuse thats blown

wow, this post took me way too long to understand right... still dont understand "connected"....
my power outlets, be the shifter dont work. they're connected so i was just wondering if you guys have any ideas what it could be. my truck is a 99 4Runner hylander edition.

lol oh sorry. um by "connected" i mean the wires are connected to the back of the cigar lighters. maybe it is the fuse?

Yeah from my manual is has all outlets and cig outlet on the ACC 15 fuse.

maybe its the relay?





but they ARE on different fuses as I can tell, the ACC fuse controls the power outlet relay, and apparently the actual power from them is through 15A PWR OUTLET relay, so its either the PWR OUTLET fuse as I said originally, or the relay itself... this info is from my '99 toyota 4runner sr5

Haha , yup they also have a separate fuse, that is fuse 2 under the hood PWR OUTLEt 15A..they also are on the line with fuse 24. ACC
It was so blatant I didnt even see it in the manual

wow thanks a lot guys. i tried to get my auto servicing instructor to look it up and see what he thought be he couldnt find the schematic

i forgot to look at the fuses today but ill look at them tomorrow
