New lights! Wiring question

So, after spending three weeks constantly repairing my wife's Jeep, I finally got around to installing my new lights on the 4runner today! I picked up some utility/driving lights from Princess Auto (basically Canadian Harbor Freight) with a sodium something or other bulb, not expecting a lot, but for $17 who cares - it's gotta be better than nothing! Wow! I went for a drive tonight and I could see about 700m down the road! With low beams I could see a little less than 100m. Now, for my question: the Hella wiring harness I used has a relay that you tap to 12v source - they recommend the headlight wire, but I ran the wire into the fuse box and wrapped it around under a bolt that was live (un-keyed). Any reason to be concerned? Also, the switch is lit, but I didn't realize it was always lit until after I'd finished up. Will the switch draw enough power to kill my battery? Thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure I got it right. The switch has Earth (wired as ground) Supply (wired as +) and Load (wired as...the other wire. For the lighted switch?) Should the Supply and Load be reversed?

the supply should come straight from a 12v sorce ( I put them right on my battery) with a fused wire. The load goes to your relay.

But all three come from the relay. That's what had me confused. I think I reversed the Load/Supply from what they should be. We'll see. But I did find out that the switch has an led light in it, so it would take half of forever to kill my battery. That was my main concern: going out to the truck in the morning and having it not start.
