My 4000's had an additional Yellow (or blue) wire that was extra for some sort of....oh hell, I have no idea what it was for...but it was extra.

Try searching online for a diagram.

Does anyone here have the 4000's mounted on an ARB bull bar? I contacted ARB and they told me that they didnt think they would fit. BTW I have a 94 Runner.

Any help?

Gap, on a second gen version the ARB bar isnt nearly that tall and you dont have room.

My hella 500's are only like 6.5" tall and you only have like another 1" ...1.5" tops left.

a hella 4000 is like 9.5" tall! never fit under the top bar of a second gen ARB bar.

hmmm. I may have to find someplace local (4WP?) and see if they will let me test fit the actual light housings on the bumper.

Snap-on, how/with what did you drill out new holes in your bull bar? I dont have a winch yet but that may be a problem in the future. I may be able to stuff the lights in there but then a winch wouldnt fit in the housing.

I just marked the holes and drilled them with a hand drill. The stock light mounts on an ARB (like mine) are set way toward the back of the bumper virutally under the top bar.

With my mount locaiton they sit farther forward and not under the top bar, so it was easy to drill the holes.

I moved mine because i custom fit a ramsey winch that had an intergrated soloind pack(well not after i got done with it) into my bumper. (as you can see)
