ok I'll play.

1st is my normal driving lights. 2nd is high beams. 3rd is HIDs w/ high beams

But i agree night shots are very subjective to the camera and it's operator because i know my HIDS are a lot different then my high beams but in these pics you can hardly tell.

Well if you're planning on getting more output I would definitely go a different route... 4300k is the color temperature to stick with for the most lumens. A Philips 35w 85122+ bulb (4300k) produces 3400 lumens while a Philips 35w Ultinon bulb (about 6000k) only produces about 2500 lumens. I have both and the difference is noticeable, especially in wet conditions. Now going up to 10000k or 25000k I'm sure will drop off a considerable amount of output. Plus Philips is the way to go with HID bulbs; in that high of a color temperature you're going to have to go with a knock-off brand.

On another note, I totally agree with the differences in cameras... You aren't going to get a good comparison in this thread unless everyone sets all of the camera settings the same.

so I'm guessing no one has the problem of the disappearing headlight when someone is driving behind you and their headlights create huge glare around your truck so all you see is the shadow that you are driving. Guess I should work on that

seeing these pictures, there's DEFINITELY something wrong with my headlights. My regular lights are brighter than the brights.
