LED Dash Lights for 3rd Gen Pickup/2nd Gen 4Runner

Hi, I am interested in doing the LED conversion in my dash and I was wondering what size LEDs were necessary and how many for my SR5 gauge cluster and heater/AC controls.

And if you have some pictures of your LED gauges in your 3rd Gen Pickup/2nd Gen 4Runner, POST THEM!

There's a lot of information about this in the 1995+ Tacoma/4Runner section and the 79-88 Truck/4Runner section, but it doesn't seem like many are doing this to their second gen 4Runners or 3rd gen pickups.

As always, all responses are greatly appreciated!

from everything i've read they are the 194's that you need for your dash gauges and i believe you just need 3 of them. im not sure but ii think the other ones for the heater and ac are 74's. for your dash i'd go with the 5 LED 194's from http://www.superbrightleds.com/
i've been wanting to do this to my 86 as well but just havent gotten around to it. so good luck and put up some pics when its done!

The SR5 cluster takes three 194 bulbs and the climate controls takes one 74 bulb. All of the indicator bulbs on the cluster are 74s as well if you want to do them too. The tiny little bulb inside the AC button is a neo-style base bulb. You'll have to take it out and measure it and compare that to the specs on the website to get the right bulb. I'll post a picture in the morning of the blue LEDs I have in my deluxe cluster now.

Thanks! I'm ordering them on ebay as I type. While I'm thinking of it, does anyone with the SR5 package know what kind of bulbs go in the dome lights right by the rear view mirror? I think they call them the map light or something. At first glance, I didn't see any way to remove the lense. I'll have to go out and look agian.

if yours is like my 95 t4r, the entire map light console pops off. mine took 2 30mm led festoons. same with the step lights. they are a little different, but work.
