instrument cluster lights

i have seen people changing their lights behind their gauges from the stock green to other colors such as red or yellow. anyways i want to do it and was wondering how to do it and what type of bulb it takes to do this project

i did mine to red
i tried doing blue afterwards but that didnt work, it was just dark.
same bulbs that are in the corner lights.

just buy bulbs like the ones in your corner lights. very easy to do. Dark colors like blue wont work though, because the needles wont light up.

Use a #194 bulb. Red or clear would give a different appearance that is still bright enough to see. You must remove the dash trim pieces and pull out the cluster. The lights snap into the back of the cluster in a plastic holder. It is not that difficult of a job, just take your time with the dash. There are plenty of threads concerning cluster removal and swaps.
